Pig iron in which the majority of the carbon is combined with iron in the form of cementite, Fe3 C , but in which there is also a small amount of graphite. The fractured pig has a white crystalline fracture with clusters of dark spots, indicating the presence of graphite.See also:gray iron. (references)
