(From Wikipedia, the free Encyclopedia)
Homework is a term most commonly applied to work assigned by a school or other educational institution, with the intention of the assignment being completed by the student at home (hence the name).Homework is often a great annoyance for schoolchildren. Students, of course, would rather be exercising their free will, instead of continuing work after they retire from the school day. However, school systems insist that it reinforces the material, and helps students study and retain the assigned material.
