The Pokémon Ditto has the ability to transform into the opponent's Pokémon. Its number is #132 in the original Pokémon list. When not in the shape of another Pokémon (or animal, or human, or inanimate object), Ditto resembles an amorphous pink blob, similar to many of the other Normal type Pokémon such as Jigglypuff, Wigglytuff, Clefairy, Clefable or Chansey. Although its only move in re Ditto is Transform, Ditto can learn any of the moves of any of the other Pokémon species once it has transformed. Its Japanese name is Metamon.
