Stuffing is a mixture of vegetables, bread crumbs and other ingredients (meats, herbs, spices, etc.) stuffed inside a whole bird for cooking. It contributes to even cooking and absorbs many of the bird's natural flavors during roasting.See also: Thanksgiving, list of recipes, cooking a turkey
