TRIGGER CIRCUIT

Specialty Definition: TRIGGER CIRCUIT

DomainDefinition

Mining

A circuit having a number of states of electrical condition (which are either stable or quasi-stable) or that is unstable with at least one stable state and so designed that a desired transition can be initiated by the application of a suitable trigger excitation. By quasi-stable state ismeant a state that persists during the time of interest. (references)
