A rare, weakly radioactive, orthorhombic or monoclinic mineral, Ca(Ce,Nd,Y,La)(CO3 )2 F , usually found in pegmatites associated with aegirite, microcline, astrophyllite, fluorite, gadolinite, xenotime, cordylite, and catapleiite. May be related to parisite. Alsospelled synchysite. (references)
