Infectious disease which resembles tuberculosis and is caused by Yersinia pseudotuberculosis. It is characterized by the progressive formation of multiple granulomatous lesions in internal organs and affects guinea pigs and other laboratory animals, wild mammals and birds, and occasionally domestic ruminants.
