By sending a strong electric current through a rarefied gas, a plasma is created-an intensively hot gas in which electrons have been separated from atomic nuclei. The plasma reaches up to 10 000 degrees C. In the presence of this heat, all waste(including hydrocarbons, PCBs ans other toxins)are vitrified and are suitable for road gravel.
