Pioneer is located at 42°39'16" North, 94°23'27" West (42.654422, -94.390775)1. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.2 km² (0.1 mi²). 0.2 km² (0.1 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.

Demographics


As of the census of 2000, there are 21 people, 10 households, and 6 families residing in the city. The population density is 135.1/km² (333.1/mi²). There are 11 housing units at an average density of 70.8/km² (174.5/mi²). Geography


Pioneer is located at 32°44'12" North, 91°26'4" West (32.736730, -91.434523)1. According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 2.8 km² (1.1 mi²). 2.8 km² (1.1 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.

Demographics


As of the census of 2000, there are 171 people, 65 households, and 39 families residing in the village. The population density is 60.6/km² (157.2/mi²). There are 70 housing units at an average density of 24.8/km² (64.3/mi²). The racial makeup of the village is 47.37% White, 52.63% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 65 households out of which 27.7% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 35.4% are married couples living together, 23.1% have a female householder with no husband present, and 38.5% are non-families. 32.3% of all households are made up of individuals and 13.8% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. Pioneer is a village located in Williams County, Ohio. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 1,460.

Geography


Pioneer is located at 41°40'50" North, 84°33'10" West (41.680569, -84.552796)1. According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 4.3 km² (1.7 mi²). 4.1 km² (1.6 mi²) of it is land and 0.2 km² (0.1 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 3.61% water.

Demographics


As of the census of 2000, there are 1,460 people, 593 households, and 400 families residing in the village. The population density is 352.3/km² (911.8/mi²). There are 636 housing units at an average density of 153.5/km² (397.2/mi²). The racial makeup of the village is 97.40% White, 0.34% African American, 0.62% Native American, 0.14% Asian, 0.07% Pacific Islander, 0.68% from other races, and 0.75% from two or more races. 1.99% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 593 households out of which 31.9% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 53.3% are married couples living together, 10.3% have a female householder with no husband present, and 32.5% are non-families. 28.0% of all households are made up of individuals and 11.1% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.46 and the average family size is 3.00. In the village the population is spread out with 26.0% under the age of 18, 9.7% from 18 to 24, 29.0% from 25 to 44, 22.6% from 45 to 64, and 12.7% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 36 years. For every 100 females there are 95.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 97.1 males. The median income for a household in the village is $37,153, and the median income for a family is $46,369. Males have a median income of $32,917 versus $21,466 for females.
