In Cold Blood: A True Account of a Multiple Murder and Its Consequences is a non-fiction novel by Truman Capote, detailing the 1959 murder of a Herb Clutter, a wealthy farmer from Kansas, and his family and the aftermath. ISBN 0679745580

The 1967 film was based on the novel. It was adapted and directed by Richard Brooks. Portions were actually filmed on location, particularly the Clutter residence, where the murders were committed. The film stars Robert Blake and John Forsythe.

The 1996 television movie was also based on the novel. It stars Anthony Edwards, Eric Roberts, and Sam Niell. Both the movie and the TV movie are faithful to the novel.

In Cold Blood is also a graphical Adventure game for the Playstation and PC created by Revolution Software in 2000.
