Hague is a town located in Warren County, New York. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 854.

Geography


According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 206.2 km² (79.6 mi²). 165.8 km² (64.0 mi²) of it is land and 40.4 km² (15.6 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 19.58% water.

Demographics


As of the census of 2000, there are 854 people, 371 households, and 258 families residing in the town. The population density is 5.1/km² (13.3/mi²). There are 1,047 housing units at an average density of 6.3/km² (16.4/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 98.48% White, 0.12% African American, 0.12% Native American, 0.12% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 1.17% from two or more races. 0.47% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 371 households out of which 20.2% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 59.6% are married couples living together, 7.5% have a female householder with no husband present, and 30.2% are non-families. 27.8% of all households are made up of individuals and 16.7% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.30 and the average family size is 2.76. In the town the population is spread out with 19.6% under the age of 18, 4.3% from 18 to 24, 20.6% from 25 to 44, 29.5% from 45 to 64, and 26.0% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 48 years. For every 100 females there are 95.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 92.4 males. The median income for a household in the town is $39,375, and the median income for a family is $48,068. Males have a median income of $40,568 versus $21,964 for females. The per capita income for the town is $27,344. 7.5% of the population and 4.6% of families are below the poverty line. Out of the total people living in poverty, 16.1% are under the age of 18 and 6.7% are 65 or older.

Hague is a city located in Emmons County, North Dakota. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 91.

Geography


Hague is located at 46°1'42" North, 99°59'55" West (46.028313, -99.998640)1. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.7 km² (0.3 mi²). 0.7 km² (0.3 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.

Demographics


As of the census of 2000, there are 91 people, 43 households, and 28 families residing in the city. The population density is 125.5/km² (330.4/mi²). There are 53 housing units at an average density of 73.1/km² (192.4/mi²). The racial makeup of the city is 96.70% White, 1.10% African American, 2.20% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 1.10% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 43 households out of which 16.3% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 53.5% are married couples living together, 9.3% have a female householder with no husband present, and 32.6% are non-families. 32.6% of all households are made up of individuals and 16.3% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.12 and the average family size is 2.59. In the city the population is spread out with 17.6% under the age of 18, 0.0% from 18 to 24, 25.3% from 25 to 44, 14.3% from 45 to 64, and 42.9% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 56 years. For every 100 females there are 85.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 87.5 males. The median income for a household in the city is $24,688, and the median income for a family is $27,500. Males have a median income of $20,417 versus $10,625 for females. The per capita income for the city is $13,048. 14.4% of the population and 5.9% of families are below the poverty line. Out of the total people living in poverty, 40.0% are under the age of 18 and 7.7% are 65 or older.
