Guy is a town located in Faulkner County, Arkansas. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 202.Geography
Guy is located at 35°19'29" North, 92°20'6" West (35.324584, -92.334935)1. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 2.4 km² (0.9 mi²). 2.4 km² (0.9 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.Demographics
As of the census2 of 2000, there are 202 people, 84 households, and 65 families residing in the town. The population density is 84.8/km² (219.4/mi²). There are 92 housing units at an average density of 38.6/km² (99.9/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 96.04% White, 0.50% Black or African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 3.47% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 84 households out of which 31.0% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 65.5% are married couples living together, 9.5% have a female householder with no husband present, and 22.6% are non-families. 21.4% of all households are made up of individuals and 8.3% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.40 and the average family size is 2.74. In the town the population is spread out with 20.8% under the age of 18, 7.4% from 18 to 24, 30.7% from 25 to 44, 26.7% from 45 to 64, and 14.4% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 40 years. For every 100 females there are 83.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 92.8 males. The median income for a household in the town is $35,625, and the median income for a family is $38,977. Males have a median income of $26,875 versus $23,750 for females. The per capita income for the town is $15,732. 14.0% of the population and 10.2% of families are below the poverty line.
