Go voice When two or more parties stop communicating digitally and resuming the conversation via voice communication over the telephone. Prototypically this is used (e.g., "Wanna go voice?") between two modem users to denote the action of picking up the phone while shutting off the modem, in order to use the same line for voice communication as had was being used for data transmission.
