Verb. Source: Getting soaped up may come from the idea that soap is the most important part of bathing and that it is important to get covered up in soap to become fully clean. Definition: To get soaped up is to wash everywhere effectively, getting the soap quite lathered. Context: Get soaped up is used by Co-op members in their own households when speaking to their children in the bath tub or shower, or when asking them to wash their hands.
