Performs following duties to remove moisture from devulcanized scrap rubber: Cleans adhering scrap stock from drier and shaker screens, using handtools and airhose. Dumps bags of soapstone into hopper of mechanical shaker that sifts soapstone to prevent tacky surfaces of stock from adhering to shaker. Opens and closes discharge chutes of drier as instructed. May move dried stock to storage bins on handtrucks. (references)
