(From Wikipedia, the free Encyclopedia)
A chainsaw is a mechanized saw used for cutting things more rapidly than would be possible with a standard saw. A chainsaw's cutting surface is a sharp chain, which is rapidly moved around a track by a small internal combustion engine. Some models of chainsaws have an electric motor instead of a gasoline engine.Source: adapted by the editor from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia under a copyleft GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) from the article "Chainsaw."
