Specialty Definition: Chainsaw

(From Wikipedia, the free Encyclopedia)

A chainsaw is a mechanized saw used for cutting things more rapidly than would be possible with a standard saw. A chainsaw's cutting surface is a sharp chain, which is rapidly moved around a track by a small internal combustion engine. Some models of chainsaws have an electric motor instead of a gasoline engine.
