Centennial is a town located in Albany County, Wyoming. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 191.Geography
Centennial is located at 41°17'53" North, 106°8'15" West (41.297981, -106.137614)1. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 26.0 km² (10.0 mi²). 26.0 km² (10.0 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.Demographics
As of the census of 2000, there are 191 people, 97 households, and 57 families residing in the town. The population density is 7.4/km² (19.1/mi²). There are 295 housing units at an average density of 11.4/km² (29.4/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 95.29% White, 0.00% African American, 1.05% Native American, 1.05% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 2.62% from two or more races. 3.14% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 97 households out of which 15.5% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 50.5% are married couples living together, 2.1% have a female householder with no husband present, and 41.2% are non-families. 30.9% of all households are made up of individuals and 5.2% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 1.97 and the average family size is 2.44. In the town the population is spread out with 13.1% under the age of 18, 3.1% from 18 to 24, 23.0% from 25 to 44, 44.0% from 45 to 64, and 16.8% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 48 years. For every 100 females there are 130.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 115.6 males. The median income for a household in the town is $32,292, and the median income for a family is $45,417. Males have a median income of $57,292 versus $37,969 for females. The per capita income for the town is $29,477. 13.3% of the population and 15.9% of families are below the poverty line.
