Woodhull is a village located in Henry County, Illinois. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 809.

Geography


Woodhull is located at 41°10'44" North, 90°18'55" West (41.178879, -90.315230)1. According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 2.1 km² (0.8 mi²). 2.1 km² (0.8 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.

Demographics


As of the census of 2000, there are 809 people, 348 households, and 238 families residing in the village. The population density is 376.3/km² (980.6/mi²). There are 361 housing units at an average density of 167.9/km² (437.6/mi²). The racial makeup of the village is 99.01% White, 0.37% African American, 0.12% Native American, 0.12% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.37% from two or more races. 1.24% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 348 households out of which 28.2% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 57.5% are married couples living together, 7.8% have a female householder with no husband present, and 31.6% are non-families. 29.6% of all households are made up of individuals and 15.8% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.32 and the average family size is 2.86. In the village the population is spread out with 23.9% under the age of 18, 6.4% from 18 to 24, 28.1% from 25 to 44, 23.5% from 45 to 64, and 18.2% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 40 years. For every 100 females there are 94.5 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 92.5 males. The median income for a household in the village is $35,288, and the median income for a family is $42,500. Males have a median income of $30,000 versus $26,136 for females. The per capita income for the village is $18,738. 9.1% of the population and 5.4% of families are below the poverty line. Out of the total people living in poverty, 10.7% are under the age of 18 and 12.3% are 65 or older.

Woodhull is a town located in Steuben County, New York. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 1,524.

Geography


According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 143.5 km² (55.4 mi²). 143.4 km² (55.4 mi²) of it is land and 0.1 km² (0.04 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 0.04% water.

Demographics


As of the census of 2000, there are 1,524 people, 550 households, and 409 families residing in the town. The population density is 10.6/km² (27.5/mi²). There are 671 housing units at an average density of 4.7/km² (12.1/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 97.18% White, 0.59% African American, 0.20% Native American, 0.26% Asian, 0.26% Pacific Islander, 0.07% from other races, and 1.44% from two or more races. 1.12% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 550 households out of which 34.2% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 57.3% are married couples living together, 9.3% have a female householder with no husband present, and 25.6% are non-families. 20.0% of all households are made up of individuals and 9.8% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.77 and the average family size is 3.15. In the town the population is spread out with 28.2% under the age of 18, 8.6% from 18 to 24, 28.0% from 25 to 44, 24.0% from 45 to 64, and 11.2% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 35 years. For every 100 females there are 100.0 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 96.8 males. The median income for a household in the town is $32,031, and the median income for a family is $34,583. Males have a median income of $27,228 versus $22,150 for females. The per capita income for the town is $13,674. 16.3% of the population and 12.7% of families are below the poverty line. Out of the total people living in poverty, 13.8% are under the age of 18 and 18.3% are 65 or older.
