Specifies density to maintain in each pond and sequence of ponds to use as salt concentration increases. Inspects ponds, floodgates, valves, and pumps, and reports needed repair or maintenance. May compile report on pond operations. May direct workers in draining granulator beds and laying gondola tracks on beds.
