Johnsonville is a village located in Wayne County, Illinois. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 69.

Geography


Johnsonville is located at 38°31'16" North, 88°32'12" West (38.521057, -88.536564)1. According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.5 km² (0.2 mi²). 0.5 km² (0.2 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.

Demographics


As of the census of 2000, there are 69 people, 25 households, and 20 families residing in the village. The population density is 126.9/km² (325.9/mi²). There are 33 housing units at an average density of 60.7/km² (155.9/mi²). The racial makeup of the village is 100.00% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 25 households out of which 40.0% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 64.0% are married couples living together, 12.0% have a female householder with no husband present, and 20.0% are non-families. 20.0% of all households are made up of individuals and 12.0% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.76 and the average family size is 3.10. In the village the population is spread out with 27.5% under the age of 18, 8.7% from 18 to 24, 31.9% from 25 to 44, 20.3% from 45 to 64, and 11.6% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 36 years. For every 100 females there are 68.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 92.3 males. The median income for a household in the village is $45,000, and the median income for a family is $41,250. Males have a median income of $22,500 versus $25,000 for females. Johnsonville is a city located in Florence County, South Carolina. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 1,418.

Geography


Johnsonville is located at 33°49'4" North, 79°26'54" West (33.817802, -79.448288)1. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 4.1 km² (1.6 mi²). 4.1 km² (1.6 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.

Demographics


As of the census of 2000, there are 1,418 people, 532 households, and 413 families residing in the city. The population density is 346.5/km² (897.6/mi²). There are 602 housing units at an average density of 147.1/km² (381.1/mi²). The racial makeup of the city is 75.74% White, 22.78% African American, 0.21% Native American, 0.14% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.56% from other races, and 0.56% from two or more races. 1.06% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 532 households out of which 35.7% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 52.8% are married couples living together, 18.6% have a female householder with no husband present, and 22.2% are non-families. 19.9% of all households are made up of individuals and 9.2% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.65 and the average family size is 3.03. In the city the population is spread out with 26.4% under the age of 18, 8.9% from 18 to 24, 26.5% from 25 to 44, 25.8% from 45 to 64, and 12.3% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 37 years. For every 100 females there are 88.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 82.7 males. The median income for a household in the city is $34,274, and the median income for a family is $38,690. Males have a median income of $30,109 versus $19,500 for females. The per capita income for the city is $15,539. 16.6% of the population and 13.3% of families are below the poverty line. Out of the total people living in poverty, 21.5% are under the age of 18 and 18.1% are 65 or older.
