ROYAL ARTILLERY

Specialty Definition: Royal Regiment of Artillery

The Royal Regiment of Artillery is a corps of the British Army, providing air defence, fire support and surveillance and target acquisition. Despite the name, it is made up of many regiments.

The current (2003) main gun is the AS-90 SPG.
