Duffel is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Antwerp. The municipality only comprises the town of Duffel proper. On January 1st, 2000 Duffel had a total population of 15,971 (7,734 males and 8,237 females). The total area is 22.56 km² which gives a population density of 707.93 inhabitants per km².

The town gives its name to a heavy woollen cloth used to make overcoats, especially for the military. The coat made from this material is now spelt duffle coat.
