1999Invention patented by Andreas Olbrich, Stefan Krawietz, Jurgen Schneider, Jorg Steger, and Hermann Guttler on September 2nd, 1999. Abstract: A drafting frame is provided with at least one compaction unit in which a belt with a perforation under suction serves to draw together the fibers of a drafted roving. The belt is juxtaposed with a stripper spaced from the belt to remove fiber accommodations thereon. The gap between the stripper edge and the belt is adjustable.
