Doubly linked list A data structure in which each element contains pointers to the next and previous elements in the list, thus forming a bidirectional linear list. (1995-03-28). Source: The Free On-line Dictionary of Computing.

Math

A variant of a linked list in which each item has a link to the previous item as well as the next. This allows easily accessing list items backwards as well as forwards and deleting any item in constant time. (references)
