Cory Doctorow (b. July 17, 1971 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada) is a science fiction author and technology activist. Some common themes of his work include Disney and junk. He won the John W. Campbell Award for best new writer in 2000. Currently (2003) he lives in San Francisco, California and works as outreach coordinator for the EFF.External links
