Abstract: Genes coding for a polypeptide having a human megakaryocyte potentiator activity, recombinant vectors containing said genes, host cells that have been transformed with said recombinant vectors, and a process for producing a polypeptide having a human megakaryocyte potentiator activity by first cultivating said transformed host cells and then isolating the desired polypeptide from the culture.
