DATSUN 240Z

Specialty Definition: Datsun 240Z

(From Wikipedia, the free Encyclopedia)

The Datsun 240Z was a car designed for the American market. It hit the ground running in perfect tune, rapidly being found as an unbelieveabe value with a four wheel independent suspension, looks that indicated 100mph when parked, and performance to back up the looks. The car was a massive departure from the typial japanese sportscar, and was received with waiting lists at the dealers. A 240Z could be bought in the southeast, driven to the other coast and sold for more than enought to cover the cost of the car, the trip, and airfare home. The 240Z crossed the finishline in every respect, The racing world loved them, the autombile press herralded the car, and the owners were so passionate about them that even thirty years later a 240Z will draw envy from those who had one, those who wanted one, and those who are captivated by a beautiful car that does not look like anything but another early Zcar.
