Abstract: A motor vehicle cigar lighter has an illuminating sleeve carrying an illuminating module which includes a light source and which surrounds the lighter socket or body. A connecting module is fixed to the rear of the lighter body. Temporary locking means, comprising tongues, are interposed between the connecting module and the illuminating sleeve.
