CUTTY SARK DLR STATION

Specialty Definition: Cutty Sark DLR station

(From Wikipedia, the free Encyclopedia)

As the name suggests, Cutty Sark DLR station is a station on the Docklands Light Railway situated a short distance from the historic Cutty Sark ship in the town centre of Greenwich in south-east London.

The station is the first station south of the River Thames and, as the DLR traverses the river through a tunnel, the station is underground. It is the closest station to the National Maritime Museum, the former Greenwich Hospital, the Greenwich foot tunnel, Greenwich's covered market and other tourist attractions.
