1993Invention patented by Hui Hu on December 29th, 1993. Abstract: A method of producing a tomographic image from x-ray projection data acquired during a helical scan with two fan beams, includes weighting selected data in each projection data array to account for data redundancy and distance from the image plane. Each weighted array of projection data is back projected and combined to form the desired slice image.
