Creighton is a city located in Cass County, Missouri. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 322.

Geography


Creighton is located at 38°29'44" North, 94°4'23" West (38.495498, -94.073148)1. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.8 km² (0.3 mi²). 0.8 km² (0.3 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.

Demographics


As of the census of 2000, there are 322 people, 128 households, and 83 families residing in the city. The population density is 414.4/km² (1,086.7/mi²). There are 138 housing units at an average density of 177.6/km² (465.7/mi²). The racial makeup of the city is 98.76% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.31% from other races, and 0.93% from two or more races. 0.62% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 128 households out of which 38.3% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 53.1% are married couples living together, 8.6% have a female householder with no husband present, and 34.4% are non-families. 31.3% of all households are made up of individuals and 17.2% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.52 and the average family size is 3.17. In the city the population is spread out with 31.1% under the age of 18, 5.9% from 18 to 24, 32.3% from 25 to 44, 16.8% from 45 to 64, and 14.0% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 35 years. For every 100 females there are 105.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 101.8 males. The median income for a household in the city is $41,071, and the median income for a family is $48,750. Males have a median income of $41,000 versus $19,479 for females. The per capita income for the city is $20,369. 12.9% of the population and 8.9% of families are below the poverty line. Out of the total people living in poverty, 11.7% are under the age of 18 and 19.5% are 65 or older.

Creighton is a city located in Knox County, Nebraska. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 1,270.

Geography


Creighton is located at 42°27'54" North, 97°54'26" West (42.465112, -97.907191)1. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 3.1 km² (1.2 mi²). 3.1 km² (1.2 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.

Demographics


As of the census of 2000, there are 1,270 people, 559 households, and 342 families residing in the city. The population density is 415.6/km² (1,079.8/mi²). There are 614 housing units at an average density of 200.9/km² (522.0/mi²). The racial makeup of the city is 98.11% White, 0.39% African American, 1.10% Native American, 0.08% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.08% from other races, and 0.24% from two or more races. 0.16% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 559 households out of which 24.9% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 53.5% are married couples living together, 5.7% have a female householder with no husband present, and 38.8% are non-families. 36.1% of all households are made up of individuals and 22.2% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.19 and the average family size is 2.87. In the city the population is spread out with 23.0% under the age of 18, 4.4% from 18 to 24, 21.3% from 25 to 44, 21.7% from 45 to 64, and 29.6% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 46 years. For every 100 females there are 85.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 83.1 males. The median income for a household in the city is $27,763, and the median income for a family is $38,667. Males have a median income of $25,156 versus $16,667 for females. The per capita income for the city is $15,293. 10.1% of the population and 7.4% of families are below the poverty line. Out of the total people living in poverty, 3.7% are under the age of 18 and 13.1% are 65 or older.
