2001Invention patented by Scott Barclay, Krzysztof Piotr Rakowski, and Victoria Taran on May 24th, 2001. Abstract: The invention is concerned with esters from conjugated linoleic acid and a food allowable alcohol from the group of terpene alcohols and sesquiterpene alcohols. These esters have good taste and display the health effects from the conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) part and from the food allowable alcohol part of the molecule.
