Central Advisory Commission (中央顾问委员会 zhong1 yang1 gu4 wen4 wei3 yuan2 hui3) (CAC) of People's Republic of China provides "political assistance and consultation" to Central Committee (中央委员会).

The Commission was established after the Twelfth People's Political Consultative Conference in in 1982. The first two chairmen were Deng Xiaoping (1982-1987) and Chen Yun (1987-1992). Its membership is offered only to party members with forty years or more of service.
