1997Invention patented by Shabbir Attarwala and Gina M. Mazzella on July 2nd, 1997. Abstract: The present invention is directed to an anaerobic adhesive composition which includes an acrylate monomer; a coreactant monomer; and an anaerobic cure-inducing composition. The composition may also include a maleimide compound. Reaction products of compositions in accordance with this invention exhibit superior resistence to thermal depredation, such as under elevated temperature conditions.
