Asse is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Flemish Brabant. The municipality comprises the towns of Asse proper, Bekkerzeel, Kobbegem, Mollem, Relegem and Zellik. On January 1st, 2000 Asse had a total population of 27,931 (13,533 males and 14,398 females). The total area is 50.60 km² which gives a population density of 552.00 inhabitants per km².
