Amherstview is a town in the province of Ontario. It has a population of approximately 6,000 and is essentially a suburb of a the city of Kingston. The town lies at the western end of the Loyalist Parkway, a stretch of Highway 33 that travels along Lake Ontario, in an area in which many United Empire Loyalists settled.
