Grinds down dressed spots and other defects, such as glaze droplets, kiln dirt, and color spots, using grinding wheel. Polishes dressed ware, using power buffer. Verifies shape and dimensional accuracy of ware, using templates. Segregates pieces into standard grades according to number and type of defects in form, color, and uniformity of glaze coverage.
