"Black and White", movie directed by James Toback, starring a cast of young actors and celebrities including Elijah Wood, Claudia Schiffer, a number of Rap musicians and a box star. Explores the relationship between Blacks and Whites in New York ca. 2000
Black and White is how the first films, including silent movies and the first tv programmes were made. Even now in Britain you can have a Black and White tv license which costs less than a colour license, providing you have only have black and white televisions.
Black and White means clearly, especially when written down.
Black and white is also the two sides in the games of chess (sometimes it's red and white), checkers or draughts, go, Othello, Backgammon etc.
